How the Mood Swing Index Works

The Mood Swing Index combines eight psychological factors: frequency, intensity, triggers, recovery time, sleep stability, stress load, routine consistency, and real‑life impact. Sleep and routine are protective factors and are inverted in the formula.

Scores are weighted and scaled to a 0–100 range where higher values indicate greater emotional variability.
